Access to Operator Services
To access operator services, simply dial 0. For automated third party and collect calls, dial 0 and the ten digit number you wish to reach. Charges apply as follows:

Automatic Call Back
This is just like the redial button on many phones. If you want to call someone right back, Dial *66. Your phone will redial the number you just called. If the line is busy, wait for the prompt, then hang up. A different ring will notify you when the line is free.
Automatic Recall
Ah the infamous *69. If you missed the last call, simply dial *69 to hear the last number that called your phone. Then if you want to call that number, wait for the prompt and enter 1 for an automatic redial of the number. If the line is busy, wait for the prompt, hang up, and a different ring will notify you when the line is free.
This feature does not work if the person calling uses Caller ID Block, or if the phone number cannot be identified (i.e. a call from an institution or large business). Cell phone and international numbers are often not identified for Recall *69 either.
Basic White Pages Listing (Residential or Business)
With each Primary and Secondary line, you get a basic White Pages listing that includes name, address and phone number. It appears in both your local telephone directory (paper) and its affiliated online directory.
You also receive a basic listing (name and number) for Alternate Numbers (up to two additional numbers per Primary or Secondary line-see under Optional Service Features). You may list a different name associated with each number, or use a general reference, such as Teen Line. For businesses, Yellow Pages listings are the responsibility of the customer and must be activated by your directory publisher. These listings could be subject to a fee as determined by the directory publisher.
Call Display (Name and Number)
If your phone has a three-lined display, both the caller's name and number will appear between the first and second ring. On a two-lined display, only the caller's number will appear.
Call Trace
We hope it never happens, but if you ever receive a threatening or harassing phone call youcan initiate a Call Trace by dialing *57 immediately after hanging up.
A Call Trace record is initiated at our Access Central Office. You can then file a complaint about the offending call with your local police. The details of the Call Trace record are kept confidential, and will only be released to an authorized law enforcement official. We will provide a toll-free line to law enforcement officials to follow up with our provider should they request access to the records.
Caller ID Block Release
If Caller ID Block is your normal default — lets say you have an unpublished number — you may wish to 'unblock' your number once in a while, on a per-call-basis, to call someone who subscribes to Anonymous Call Screening.
Just dial *82 before placing your call. You'll hear three short beeps, then a dial
tone. Place your call, and your Calling Name and Number will be displayed on the receiving phone. After you hang up, your default Caller ID Block is automatically restored.
Caller ID Block
If you want privacy when dialing out, you can block the delivery of your calling name and number by dialing *67 before placing your call. This works on a call by call basis,
so every time you want your ID blocked, you have to dial *67 .
You'll hear three short beeps, then the dial tone again. Now simply place your call. After you hang up, the Caller ID Block is automatically released.
Directory Assistance
Need to find a number? Just call 411. Charges apply as follows:

Long Distance Provider
When you become an AccessDigitalPhone subscriber, Access is your long distance provider. If you want to switch, permission is not needed from Access (arrangements must be made with the provider of your choice). If you choose to do so, your current Access features and phone service will remain unchanged. However, casual calling for alternate dial-around services cannot be carried by Access facilities (eg. 10-10-XXX).
But when you look at Access Long Distance Plans, we don't think you'll want to change a thing.
Message Relay Service
Not everyone is able to talk or hear over the phone. Dial 7-1-1 to place a call to someone with special needs or communication challenges. Our Message Relay Service operator types your spoken words into text, which is then read by someone using a Teletype Interface. That person then responds back in text, read to you by the operator. The operator facilitates the conversation in this manner for the duration of the call. Equipment is the responsibility of the
Number of Rings
To set the number of rings a caller will hear before being transferred to voicemail, dial *99 . When you hear a different dial tone,
press the number of rings that you want (2 to 9). Wait for the confirmation tone and you're done.
Police/Fire/Ambulance Enhanced Services
Your safety is our primary concern. In an emergency, dial 9-1-1. All Enhanced 9-1-1 Call Handling Services are available on your Access lines. Enhanced 9-1-1 gives emergency operators Automatic Location Information (delivered onto their screens at the time they receive your call), as well as call control features such as Call Hold, Off Hook Ringback (Howler), On Hook Ringback (ERB), and Force Disconnect. 911 monthly service fee applies.
Repair and Maintenance
If you are experiencing service issues with your new Home Phone service, please dial 611 to be routed to the AccessHomePhone technical service centre. If your phone is completely out, call 565-6641 in Regina or toll free at 1-866-405-7475 from an alternate phone. We'll do whatever needs to be done to get your service back up and running.
Unlimited Local Calling
Place calls to any landline or wireless telephone number within your local area, free of charge (i.e. numbers that don't require the long distance designation '1', or '0'). To place a local call, just dial the full 7-digit number of the local party you wish to reach. You know, like using a telephone.
Free Long Distance Between AccessHomePhone Customers
Place 'direct dial' calls to any other AccessHomePhone subscriber, regardless of their location (that includes long distance), free of charge. To place a call to another subscriber, dial the full 10-digit number (area code number).
