On Monday, September 5 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Access Communications’ Community Park, 2250 Park Street in Regina, will be the gathering place for hundreds of classic and vintage vehicles.
“We’re excited to host our tenth annual Show N Shine full of entertainment for people of all ages and to support those in need in our community through the good work of the Regina and District Food Bank, says Jim Deane, President and CEO, Access Communications Co-operative. “This event has raised over one hundred thousand dollars since 2006.”
Steve Compton, the Chief Executive Officer for the Regina and District Food Bank, says “The need for donations is always there and we’re very grateful that Access Communications hosts this annual event. We look forward to the support it will bring.”
The event is organized in partnership between Access Communications Co-operative and the Collectors Car Club of Saskatchewan, together with 80 volunteers. This year’s event is presented by CAA Saskatchewan. “On behalf of our family of 185,000 Members, we are pleased to show our community support of this event that helps families in need,” remarked Fred Titanich, President and CEO, CAA Saskatchewan.
The Labour Day Show N’ Shine is the largest car show in Southern Saskatchewan and has become a family tradition all in support of a really good cause.
Admission to the 2016 Show N’ Shine is $5 per person and $10 per family. Children under 12 are free. Donations of non-perishable food items are also encouraged and appreciated. Registration is $10 for exhibitors who are interested in showing their vehicles. All proceeds go to the Regina and District Food Bank.
