Due to inclement weather, today’s Labour Day Show N Shine in support of the Regina and District Food Bank, is postponed for Sunday, September 11.
“The safety and enjoyment of the 5,000 participants and exhibitors is our main priority,” says Jim Deane, President and CEO, Access Communications. “We appreciate the support and understanding of the community, our sponsors, vendors and volunteers.”
The event will still be held at Access Community Park, located at 2250 Park Street in Regina, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.
The Labour Day Show N Shine is the gathering place for hundreds of classic and vintage vehicles. The event also features live music, Regina’s favourite food trucks, great contest prizes, face painting by the Street Culture Kids and the People’s Choice Awards for various vehicle categories.
The event is organized in partnership between Access Communications Co-operative and the Collectors Car Club of Saskatchewan, together with 80 volunteers. This year’s event is presented by CAA Saskatchewan. Supporting sponsors include: Bennett Dunlop Ford, Sherwood Co-op, Nimbus Water, Loras Disposal, Custom Creations, Armaguard Regina, Western Litho Printers, Abadoo Marketing, JackFM, Z99 and CJME.
Admission to the 2016 Show N’ Shine is $5 per person, $10 per family and children under 12 are free. Donations of non-perishable food items are also encouraged and appreciated. Registration is $10 for car owners who are interested in showing off their vintage toys.
