1.)Take the cable from the wall (or floor), and connect it directly to the CABLE IN on the DCT 2500.
2.)Use the 6' coaxial cable to go from TO RF IN on the DCT 2500 to the RF IN on the DCT 2500.
3.) Use 1 coaxial cable to go from TO TV/VCR on the DCT 2500 to the ANT IN on the VCR.
4.) Use the pair of audio cables to connect the AUDIO OUTPUTS on the DCT 2500 to the AUDIO INPUTS on the Home Theater Receiver.
5.) Use 1 coaxial cable to connect the OUT TO TV on the VCR to the ANT IN on the TV.
6.) Connect the S-VIDEO on back of DCT 2500 to the S-VIDEO IN on back of TV set with user supplied S-Video cable.Added Info:
If you want Home Theatre Surround Sound from the VCR, you must also connect the AUDIO OUTPUTS on the VCR, to the AUDIO INPUTS on the Receiver. Also, the regular channels audio will only be MTS Stereo. If you use audio cables from DCT 2500, this will give you Pro Logic stereo, to get 5.1 stereo, you must connect the SPDIF on the DCT 2500 to the SPDIF Input on your stereo receiver.
Setup audio properties in menu system for DCT 2500 as per owners' manual.
To use the S-Video function of the DCT 2500 and TV, you must set the TV to S-Video mode in order to receive the signal. In this mode you cannot access the VCR functions or view VCR tapes.
