Access Communications Named One of ‘Saskatchewan’s Top Employers’

Regina, SK – Access Communications Co-operative is honoured to be recognized as one of the Top Employers in Saskatchewan, as part of Mediacorp Canada’s annual competition. This special designation acknowledges Access Communications as an industry leader in offering an exceptional place to work.

“For a decade, we are humbled to be one of Saskatchewan’s Top Employers,” said Jim Deane, Chief Executive Officer at Access Communications Co-operative. “Our 300 employees are key to our success, and we are committed to maintaining Access Communications work culture and environment one of the best places in Saskatchewan for employees to build their careers.”

Several hundred employers took part in the competition and are graded on eight key areas: physical environment, work atmosphere and social, health / financial and family benefits, vacation and time off, employee communications, performance management, training and skills development and community involvement. The Saskatchewan Top 100 Employers competition is an editorial project organized by Mediacorp Canada Inc.

“Saskatchewan is unique in Canada in having a significant public-sector component to its economy combined with relatively modest levels of immigration,” says Richard Yerema, Managing Editor of the Canada’s Top 100 Employers project. “For employers, this makes it even more important to ensure their existing employees have the skills needed to succeed in tomorrow’s economy. More than in other parts of Canada, Saskatchewan employers have a significant incentive to develop the skills of their existing workforce.”
