Deborah Charles is the CEO of Missinipi Broadcasting Corporation, where she has spent more than 36 years leading in Indigenous communications, media production, and organizational management. Her work includes producing documentaries and historical pictorial books, with a focus on amplifying Indigenous voices and stories. Deborah brings extensive governance experience through her long-standing role on the Board of Directors for the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network, where she has contributed more than 25 years of leadership in governance and administration. For Deborah, being on the Access Communications Board is about advocating for greater access to local media in First Nations communities and helping create meaningful, lasting impact.
