Regina, SK – Access Communications Co-operative (Access) announced the results of the Fiscal 2025 year to individual and organizational members, delegates, and the public at its Annual General Meeting held January 20, 2026.
Access announced a solid financial performance for the year, investing over $21 million in capital spending. The organization also invested nearly $2.6 million in its community programming (AccessNow TV and Radio), powered by over 9,500 volunteer hours. As a not-for-profit, community-owned co-operative, Access reinvests 100% of its earnings into the communities and rural areas it serves.
The Board of Directors of Access Communications Co-operative elected Leslie Ciz Chair of the Board for 2026.
“Access exists to do more than deliver connectivity. We exist to strengthen the communities we serve,” said Leslie Ciz, New Chair of the Board of Directors. “As a Saskatchewan‑owned co‑operative, we take a long‑term view, investing in reliable infrastructure, local people, and community initiatives so the benefits of connection stay close to home. That approach matters in a province as diverse as Saskatchewan, and it’s why Access continues to play an important role in helping communities, businesses, and families thrive today and into the future.”
Two directors were re-elected to the Access Communications Board of Directors for three-year terms, including:
- Collin Pullar from Regina, President of the Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association.
- Deborah Charles from La Ronge, CEO of the Missinippi Broadcasting Corporation.
In addition, two new directors were elected to the board, including:
- Lisa McIntyre from Regina, Owner/Operator of The Optical Shoppe.
- Corvyn Neufeld from Yorkton, Advisor to the Chief People and Culture Officer - Conexus Credit Union.
