Regina, SK – Access Communications Co-operative (Access) is excited to announce the Access Communications Community Rink will open tomorrow, Saturday, December 20, for an eighth winter.
“The Community Rink reflects what Access is all about—creating opportunities for people to connect and enjoy their community,” said Tracey Mucha, Access’ Senior Manager of Community Engagement. “By offering a free, accessible space for families and neighbours to come together, we’re proud to help make winter more inclusive, active, and fun for everyone.”
The rink is in the Access Communications Community Park at 2250 Park Street (north side of the Access building). Helmet and skate rentals are available in a wide range of sizes for free during the supervised operating hours which are:
- Thursdays: 6 – 8 p.m.
- Saturdays: 12 – 7 p.m.
- Sundays: 12 – 5 p.m.
The public is free to use the rink outside of these hours, but skaters must bring their own skates and helmets.
Please note that this is a learn-to-skate and leisure rink. It’s not to be used with hockey equipment. Sticks and pucks are not permitted for the safety of the other skaters, the surrounding public, and the integrity of the rink structure. Access wants to thank our current sponsors who make the rink possible:
