Regina, SK – National Volunteer Week gives Access Communications the chance to honour its over 350 volunteers for their time, energy and talent to improve the well-being of others and make Saskatchewan an even better place to live.
As a co-operative, Access Communications has a special connection with our volunteers. We are humbled by their enthusiasm and their commitment to the people of Saskatchewan, and we consider it an honour to work with them to give back to the communities we all hold so dear. To celebrate our volunteers and let them know how much they mean to us, Access hosts appreciation events in our major centres across the province during National Volunteer Week.
We are proud to contribute and make a difference to communities through our almost 100 Access7 community channels and our registered charity – the Access Communications Children’s Fund – and through corporate initiatives including the Labour Day Show N Shine, Food Drive and Pumpkin Patrol. Being focused on our communities and the families within are at the heart of what Access Communications is all about.
