Access Launches TiVo Whole Home Entertainment System Including Netflix & More

Regina, SK – The future of TV and whole-home entertainment has arrived in Regina, White City, Pilot Butte, Balgonie, Emerald Park, Coppersands, Milestone, Midale, Bienfait, Yellow Grass, Estevan and Weyburn with today’s launch of TiVo from Access Communications.

Access’ TiVo whole home entertainment system includes an advanced multi-room HD PVR that will connect your entire home and provide endless entertainment opportunities in live TV, recorded programming, video on demand (VOD) and over the top (OTT) apps.

“Our TiVo service brings the most viewing options from live TV and OTT applications all on one set top box, enabling more content for customers to enjoy while enhancing their AccessTV viewing experience", says Ryan Howard, Marketing Manager of Access Communications. "No more switching devices, toggling inputs or juggling remotes. Whether it's live, on demand, or on OTT apps such as Netflix or YouTube, TiVo finds it and collects every available episode in a way that's easily searchable and hassle-free. A great feature is the Netflix button that is built into the remote - making Netflix just one click away. Features of the TiVo service work intelligently, allowing viewers to search less and watch more," adds Howard.

While other PVRs collect only the selected recording, TiVo allows you to create an OnePass™. TiVo OnePass™ searches and collects every episode by season wherever it can be found now or in the future and stores them all in your OnePass™ folder. If a show or movie you're searching for isn't available yet, it can be added it to a Wish List folder and TiVo will automatically record it for you whenever it comes on. TiVo customers can record or watch up to 6 shows at once, and with 1 terabyte of storage, can store up to 500 hours of TV, making concerns over having enough recording space a thing of the past. Plus, with its Suggestions feature, TiVo picks up on your likes and dislikes over time based on your viewing habits and records shows it thinks you might like, so you can spend less time searching for new content, and more time enjoying it. TiVo's suggestions never take storage space priority over set recordings.

TiVo's What to Watch Now feature and interactive programming guide allows users to filter and search the guide based on what the viewer is interested in at the moment, such as movies, popular TV, sports & more. It also includes a rich, poster art guide, parental controls, on-screen apps & games, and personalized programming, all at your fingertips with the remote control.

TiVo customers are able to turn any device into a TV screen with the Vu-It TiVo app. Watch recorded content or live TV anywhere in the home on your mobile devices and take your recordings on the go. Forgot to schedule a recording? The app allows you to manage all of your One Passes and Recordings wherever you are.

TiVo is user friendly and has many more features to discover. For more details visit myaccess.ca/tivo. Sign up today by calling toll free 1.866.363.2225.
