“As a community-owned co-operative, we certainly believe in the value of our customers’ requests,” says Jim Deane, Chief Executive Officer, Access Communications Co-operative. “We have had many requests from our customers for more high definition channels, and with the recent upgrades to our state-of-the-art hybrid fiber-coaxial platform infrastructure, we are now able to fulfill those requests and provide our customers with one of the largest HD lineups available in Canada.”

Deane added that the Co-operative’s HD offering is unique in the market, “We have a proven technology. Our huge broadband capacity offers the best high definition signal; it is the least compressed which gives the best HD picture quality available. Add that to our first-class digital set-top PVR boxes, TiVo and Evo, and you have a winning combination when it comes to viewing, rewinding and recording HD programs.”
