Enjoy more TV channels from around the world with Access Communications

Regina, SK – Access Communications Co-operative announced today that they will be connecting customers to the world by launching four more multicultural channels to over 70 communities across Saskatchewan on June 4, 2019 – and more to come this summer!

With one out of every five Canadian’s first language being neither English nor French, Access Communications is proud to offer Filipino and South Asian channels. These multicultural digital TV channels (available in selected communities) are The Filipino Channel (TFC), Zee TV Canada, Zee Cinema, and ATN.

"We offer customers an enhanced television experience delivered over a state-of-the-art Hybrid fiber-coaxial platform," said Jim Deane, Chief Executive Officer, Access Communications Co-operative. "Adding these four channels to AccessTV's programming line-up makes our next generation television service even more appealing to Canada's vibrant Filipino-speaking and South Asian communities."

Access Communications never stops spotlighting the growing diversity in Saskatchewan through their community channels, Access7, with vibrant programming such as award-winning RezX, Pinoy Talk and Prairie Pride. As well, the co-operative understands diversity is integral to our overall corporate strategy. In 2019 Access Communications Co-operative was once again recognized by Mediacorp as one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers for 2019. This award recognizes employers who lead the way in creating an inclusive environment where individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds are valued.

About Access Communications Co-operative
Access Communications Co-operative is one of Saskatchewan’s largest telecommunications companies, but we do so much more than provide reliable, affordable Internet, television, telephone and security services. What makes Access unique is our involvement in the communities we serve, especially through our Access7 community channels.

Access Communications began serving customers in 1978. Over the years, we have grown into a province-wide co-operative serving over 235 communities and 160,000 sq. km of rural areas in Saskatchewan. As a not-for-profit co-operative, we invest 100% of our earnings right back into the communities and rural areas where we live and do business.
