Access Communications Annual Luncheon Raises $4,000 for Regina Salvation Army

Regina, SK – Access Communications Co-operative staff held their 26th annual Christmas luncheon in support of the Salvation Army and the Regina business community turned up in the numbers.

Approximately $4,000 was raised during today’s two-hour luncheon and since its inception, well over $110,000 has been raised to support local families that need a little holiday cheer.

“Doing good in the lives of Saskatchewan’s people, especially those who struggle, is a year-round job our staff and volunteers are always eager to be part of,” said Jim Deane, President and CEO, Access Communications Co-operative. “The event is a chance for us to see some of our closest friends and community partners at their best: with smiles on their faces and generosity in their hearts.”

Major Bruce MacKenzie, who was at the luncheon to accept the donations on behalf of the Salvation Army, agrees.

“Through the generosity of our community and partnerships – who believe in the mission of the Salvation Army – we will be assisting 900 families this season,” said Major Bruce MacKenzie. “Once again, the Access Communications luncheon was truly a great accomplishment, and we are so very grateful for the support we received.”
