Who qualifies for Access Communications referral program credit?
The Referring Customer must be an existing Access Communications customer.
Who can be referred?
You can refer family and friends who have not had service with Access Communications within the past 6 months. You must have a personal or family relationship with the persons you are referring to comply with Canada’s anti-spam legislation (CASL).
What happens if the person cancels their service?
The referred customer must have active services for a min. of 60 days in order for the Referring Customer to be eligible for the referral credit.
What happens if the person referred downgrades their services?
Eligibility is based on each qualifying Access product; Internet, TV, phone or security. Upgrades or downgrades of the qualifying product has no impact on the $25 credit per product. However, if the referred customer disconnects a qualifying Access product prior to 60 days after installation, the Referring Customer will not be eligible for a credit for that product.
How many people can I refer?
You can refer as many friends and family as you want! However, you can only receive a maximum of $600.00 in credits per calendar year.
What if I as the Referring Customer change my services?
As long as you are still an active customer with services you will get the credit if the eligibility requirements are met.
Do Rural Internet customers qualify too?
Of course! Rural internet customers will receive a $25.00 credit per referral with a maximum of $600.00 per calendar year.
How do I refer someone?
You can fill out our online submission form. Once we receive the online submission an Access Communications representative will be in contact with your friend or family to get services set up.
Access Communications reserves the right to modify or end this offer or the program at any time without notice. Referrals and orders must be submitted by filling out the Customer Referral form to be eligible for referral credits.
Access Communications employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to be Referring or Referred Customers and Referring Customers may not refer themselves or their own accounts.
The referral credit is $25 per qualifying service. Qualifying service are Access TV, Internet, Rural Internet, Phone or Security product. Maximum referral credit is $600 per calendar year. All referrals must be submitted prior to Referred Customer ordering services in order to be eligible. The Referral Customer must be a new Access Communications customer which means that they have not had any services with Access Communications within the last 6 months. For the Referring Customer to be eligible for the referral credit, they must (i) explain the Program to their referrals, ii) obtain consent from each referral customer to use their personal information for the purpose of emailing them Access Communications product and services and (iii) abide by these Program Terms.
Referrals must provide consent to use of their personal information in order to participate in the Program. Upon confirmation of compliance with these terms and eligibility, a credit will be applied to the Referring Customer’s account after 60 days of the referral’s installation date provided that the referred account is active and in good standing. This credit will have no cash value other than to be used towards the Referring Customer’s account balance or donated to the Access Communications Children’s Fund if requested. This credit is non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event more than one customer refers the same Referred Customer, the first customer making the referral (as determined by Access Communications) will be deemed the Referring Customer.
