Access Communications Awards $27,000 in Scholarships to Saskatchewan Students

Access Communications Co-operative is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 scholarship programs, awarding a total of $27,000 to outstanding students across the province. A strong future starts with investing in youth. Access’s scholarship program continues to grow in both scope and impact, helping to support Saskatchewan’s next generation of leaders, innovators, and community champions.

“We are inspired by the drive, resilience, and community spirit of this year’s recipients,” said Carmela Haines, President & CEO of Access. “As a community-owned co-operative, supporting education and local talent is one of the most meaningful ways we can give back to Saskatchewan.”

This year, twenty high school students were awarded $1,000 each through the Doug Alexander Scholarship Program, which recognizes excellence in academics and community service. The program is named in honour of the late Doug Alexander, Access’s former Community Relations Manager, who was deeply committed to youth and community development.
