Regina, SK – We would like to take this opportunity to thank our Regina customers for their patience during the recent service outages that started Sunday September 23, through to the morning of Monday September 24.
The service disruption was the result of damage caused by a local construction company who was installing a water line to a new building in east Regina. The fibre optic cable cut happened on Sunday afternoon and Access technicians were at the scene immediately. Fibre cuts are dangerous, can be inconvenient and take many man-hours to repair. Access crews worked through the night and services were gradually restored to all affected areas of the city by the morning of September 24.
This could have been even more serious if power or gas lines were cut. If a line is cut while digging, you could put yourself and those around you in danger, while also jeopardizing your community’s access to vital emergency services.

This is a free service and is completed in a timely matter.
