Regina, SK – Access Communications announced today the first steps in delivering industry-leading next-generation television to its customers. Access will source Saskatchewan-based technology by partnering with Vecima Networks to deploy Vecima MediaScaleX platform in its IPTV solution to subscribers across the province.

Focused on providing operators a highly flexible and scalable solution that delivers subscribers superior video experience, Vecima’s MediaScaleX hyperconverged software delivers the new service by leveraging common hardware infrastructures that facilitate an affordable cost profile. Updated Access Communications applications will be available for all types of subscribers and use cases, including iOS, Android, and Smart TV’s, starting early 2021.
