Access Communications to Provide $20,000 in Scholarships to High School Graduates

Regina, SK – Grade 12 graduates across Saskatchewan have an opportunity to share in $20,000 in scholarships to be awarded through the Access Communications Scholarship Program.

The Access Communications Scholarship Program recognizes graduating students who demonstrate exemplary community involvement as well as academic achievement. This year, Access is awarding $1000 scholarships to 20 graduates of high schools located in communities served by Access Communication Co-operative.

“At Access, we value our place in the communities we serve,” says Jim Deane, President and CEO of Access Communications. “We’re proud to celebrate and reward young people across the province who make positive contributions to their hometowns.”

Scholarship recipients are selected by an awards committee. The Committee will consider students’ contribution to community first and foremost when considering winners. Students who are interested in submitting their names for consideration can find more information on the application process at www.MyAccess.ca/InTheCommunity.

In addition to the Access Scholarship Program, scholarships are awarded each year to students enrolled at the University of Regina through the Access Communications / Fred Wagman Scholarship in Film & Video.

We’re proud of the communities we serve and thrilled to help them build on their wonderful spirit through community involvement each year. Visit www.MyAccess.ca/InTheCommunity to learn more.
