Access Named One of Saskatchewan’s Top Employers

Regina, SK – Access Communications Co-operative is honoured to be recognized today as one of the Top Employers in Saskatchewan, as part of Mediacorp Canada’s annual survey.

“We are humbled to be recognized as one of Saskatchewan’s Top Employers, and first and foremost have our 300 employees to thank for their tireless work and support,” said Jim Deane, President and Chief Executive Officer, Access Communications Co-operative. “Our people are the key to our success and we are committed to making Access Communications one of the best places in Saskatchewan for employees to build their careers.”

Several hundred employers took part in the survey and are graded on eight key areas: physical environment, work atmosphere and social, health / financial and family benefits, vacation and time off, employee communications, performance management, training and skills development and community involvement. The Saskatchewan Top 100 Employers competition is an editorial project organized by Mediacorp Canada Inc.

“Organizations that help employees connect on a deeper, more personal level have a strong sense of community, says Richard Yerema, Managing Editor of the Canada’s Top Employers project, which manages the competition. “Most employers that we review are covering all the bases when it comes to traditional HR policies that help people develop in their careers. But the very best of these employers are also paying attention to a fundamental human need for their staff to interact and meet other people – and this sensibility often translates into high levels of engagement about employees.”
