Annual General Meeting
On Tuesday, January 20, Access Communications held its 52nd Annual General Meeting (AGM). As a community-owned, Saskatchewan not-for-profit co-operative, the AGM plays a vital role in our operations, fulfilling our reporting obligations to members and delegates. The meeting featured several key components, including the presentation and approval of the previous fiscal year’s audited financial statements, a review of organizational accomplishments, and the election of new and returning board members.
During the meeting, our audited financial statements were approved. President and CEO Carmela Haines delivered a comprehensive report highlighting Access’s achievements over the past year and outlined our strategic direction for 2026.
We proudly shared that Access achieved solid financial results in Fiscal 2025 with revenue over $90 million. This success enabled us to expand our network, connecting more people and communities, while continuing to offer upgraded products and services, cutting-edge technology, and exceptional customer care.
For a detailed overview of our accomplishments, we invite you to explore the 2025 Annual Report: Stronger Connections. Greater Impact. It is available here: C001_AccessCommunications_AR_2025_CF.pdf
Delegates at the AGM re-elected Deborah Charles and Collin Pullar to the board for three-year terms. Two new members were elected for three-year terms including:
· Lisa McIntyre, Owner & Operator - The Optical Shoppe (Regina)
· Corvyn Neufeld, Advisor to the Chief People and Culture Officer - Conexus Credit Union (Yorkton)
The meeting also featured a year-in-review video celebrating our collective achievements through community engagement, which can be viewed below. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our success in Fiscal 2025. We look forward to continuing to connect communities and empower people in the year ahead.
