Regina Humane Society Telethon raises over $77,900

Regina, SK – The 35th annual Regina Humane Society (RHS) Telethon, presented by Access Communications Co-operative, aired LIVE on March 19th for a celebration of animals and people. This year’s telethon was an outstanding success raising $77,924. Donations can still be made online at www.reginahumanesociety.ca or by calling 306-543-6363.

“We’re honoured to do our part in the community and raise money for a wonderful cause with our annual Regina Humane Society Telethon,” said Tracey Mucha, Senior Manager, Community Engagement, Access Communications Co-operative. “I’m grateful to all the wonderful volunteers, performers, and the Access team for making this year’s Telethon a success once again.”

“It has been a challenging last three years for many and this year is no exception,” says Bill Thorn, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at the RHS. “Yet, through it all, our wonderful community has made sure that no animal is forgotten, through it’s support of the telethon.”
