How does Rural Internet work?

AccessRural Internet is a fixed-wireless Internet service that uses radio waves transmitted by a tower to bring you the Internet via an antenna placed at your home. It is different from satellite Internet, which communicates with satellites in space. This service is designed for customers living in rural homes, cabins, farms and acreages that cannot access traditional wired Internet services.

Does weather affect service?

Weather events generally should not affect your signal like they do with satellites, but at times extreme events which cause extended power outages may cause temporary interruptions to the service.
